Overexposure to UV light and environmental aggressors is only one small contributor to neck creping/neck lines. Lines and wrinkles form on the neck and décollete from frequent motion and because we frequently neglect the neck area, when compared to facial care. Additional causes of neck lines include weakened skin-elasticity and neck muscles, losing and gaining weight, poor posture and, suprisingly, the way that you sleep. If you sleep on pillows that are either too high or too low, this will cause stress, stretching and wrinkling in these areas.
Important aspects in caring for dry skin is to keep the skin thoroughly moisturized. Avoid irritation when cleansing the skin by not harshly washing, scrubbing and/or rubbing. When showering, avoid washing your face directly under the showerhead. Instead, switch the showerhead to the lowest setting, applying warm (not hot) water gently with a towel. After cleansing, pat the face dry with a clean towel, and apply a b.glen Lotion to the skin while its still warm; this step is crucial, since the skin has lost its protective sebum layer in the shower. In order to prevent moisture from escaping from the skin, apply an additional layer of QuSome Rich Cream, to form a barrier on the skin, securely locking-in continuous moisture.
